Arturo Fuente X The Lost City

Opus X Lost City is an extremely rare line from Arturo Fuente, made exclusively from Dominican tobacco grown on the iconic Chateau de la Fuente estate. This creation occupies a special place within the Opus X range and stands out as a highly mature blend, appreciated by fans of the Fuente brand and intended for special occasions.   This line is characterized by a powerful, balanced, and complex style. The well-aged Dominican tobaccos express assertive flavors of leather, cedar, and oak, accompanied by amplified spices and a creamy finish. The whole presents a notable depth and harmonious aromatic evolution, with a controlled richness throughout the tasting.   Opus X Lost City has its origins in a unique project linked to the filming of Andy Garcia's 2004 movie The Lost City. Tobacco was exceptionally planted during the summer at Chateau de la Fuente to allow for filming, then harvested and aged for a long time. Initially intended solely as a prop, this tobacco was ultimately used to create a unique line, the result of a rare harvest intimately linked to this story.   This line is recognized by aficionados as a collector's cigar for special occasions, with increased complexity and intriguing depth. Opus X Lost City is also associated with the Lost City Scholarship Fund, created at the request of Andy Garcia, whose goal is to support access to higher education for students from the school founded by the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation in the Dominican Republic.
